This page explains what MacroWA is responsible for and what it is not. It is for our customers and for anyone who has received a WhatsApp message sent through MacroWA. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. We carry messages, our customers write them
MacroWA is a software platform. Businesses use it to send and receive WhatsApp messages. The business that holds the account writes its messages, chooses who receives them and decides when to send them. This includes replies written by AI agents that the business sets up.
We do not write or approve our customers’ messages, and we do not choose who receives them. The sender is responsible for the content of each message and for having the recipient’s consent. A message sent through MacroWA does not mean that we endorse the sender, its products or its offers.
2. Not affiliated with Meta or WhatsApp
MacroWA is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or WhatsApp LLC. “WhatsApp” is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC. We use it only to describe what MacroWA works with. Other names and trademarks on our website belong to their owners.
3. No delivery guarantee
WhatsApp and Meta decide how messages are delivered. They may limit, restrict or ban a number or account under their own rules. We do not promise that any message will be delivered, delivered on time or read. We cannot prevent or reverse a restriction.
4. AI output
MacroWA’s AI features, including AI agents, AI Smart Reply and AI Studio, create text, images and videos automatically. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and it is not professional advice. Our customers must review AI output, and they are responsible for what they send.
If you received wrong information in an AI reply from a business, contact that business directly.
5. Third-party links and integrations
Our website, MacroWA and messages sent through it may link to or connect with services run by others. Examples are Meta, payment providers, AI providers, Google Sheets, n8n and Zapier. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. A link or integration does not mean that we endorse them.
6. Not legal advice
Information on our website, in our documentation and in MacroWA is general information. It is not legal, financial or professional advice. You are responsible for checking that your use of WhatsApp messaging follows the law and WhatsApp’s policies, and for getting your own advice where you need it.
7. Reporting a message
If you received a WhatsApp message that you believe was sent through MacroWA, and it is unwanted, misleading or a scam, report it to [email protected]. You do not need to be a customer. Please include:
- the sender’s WhatsApp number;
- the date and time you received the message;
- a screenshot of the message.
We look into every credible report and act under our Acceptable Use Policy. We can share a customer’s details with you only where the law allows.
To stop messages from a business, you can also reply STOP or BERHENTI. MacroWA supports these opt-out keywords, and opted-out contacts are not messaged.
If you have lost money to a scam, contact the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) on 997 or the police straight away.
8. We will never ask for your codes
MacroWA staff will never ask for your password or a one-time code (OTP) over WhatsApp. If someone who says they are from MacroWA asks for one, do not share it. Report it to [email protected].
